- to operate the Silver Lake Forestry Centre for the purpose of providing an environmental, outdoor learning experience for youth and adults.
- to provide educational programs that will broaden the understanding of our forest resources and the role they play in our society, particularly with reference to the social, economic and environmental benefits.
- to operate the Silver Lake Forestry Centre for school camps, summer camps, and special interest groups with an emphasis on forest resource education.
- to collect, restore and exhibit interior logging and forestry artifacts for historical purpose and for public viewing.
