Silver Lake is located 15 km northwest of Peachland, British Columbia, Canada. The camp is situated on the shores of Silver lake up Princeton Avenue in Peachland (Driving Directions).

Q. What is the purpose of the Silver Lake Forest Education Society?
The Silver Lake Forest Education Society is a non-profit society offering year-round, hands-on, outdoor experience for youth, adults and educators. Sustainable forest management is emphasized through recreational activities and educational programs are designed to broaden the understanding of the forest resource.

When is Silver Lake open?
The camp is open year round to a Variety of groups including; Schools, weddings, birthday parties, family reunions and Corporate events, who wish to utilize the educational and recreational facilities. It is a four-season playground.

Is there staff on site 24 hours a day?
Yes, there are always on site managers present at Silver Lake.

Does Silver Lake supply bedding and towels?
No, Silver Lake does not supply bedding and towels; everyone must be responsible for his or her own.

Is there access to a telephone?
Yes, Silver Lake has phone access but it is for emergency use only. Remember, this is a wilderness camp. Phone access is by satellite. Cell phones can also be used a short drive away from the camp.

Can you go fishing at Silver Lake?
Yes, the lake is stocked yearly. The biggest fish caught this year was a 3.5 lbs. rainbow trout. So don't forget to bring your fishing rods!

Are there overnight hikes?
No, our overnight campouts take place within Silver Lake boundaries for safety reasons.

What is the capacity of Silver Lake Camp?
